This is the beginning of a new blog! Although I created this website and even bought the domain some months ago, I feel like I’m finally ready to take the first step into making this into an actual blog. Here in the Mayonaka Variety Special Blog, I, Alex, will talk about events I attend, music I listen to, games I play, art I enjoy, and other things of the sort. I feel like it would be cool of me as a citizen of the city of São Paulo, SP, Brazil, to share my experiences here, especially for the folks who wanna know more about this town (including those who already live here, which is why I will try to localize my content to Brazilian Portuguese when possible). As someone living in this here planet Earth, I’m also compelled to share my opinions on our cultural landmarks, such as what I’ve been listening to or how I feel about the performance of my favorite team of a certain sport.
Oh, and I should introduce myself! You can call me Alex. I’m an illustrator and graphic designer who lived for almost my entire life in the city of São Paulo (I also lived in Atlanta, GA for a year), always passionate about art, music, sports, and video games! I hope to bring you, the reader, interesting content on what goes on in the world around me.
As I type this, it’s almost midnight and my playlist shuffle brought on “Mayonaka no Door/Stay With Me” by Miki Matsubara to my ears. Funny how things happens.
Stay tuned for updates! I plan on releasing my first event review (albeit for an event that happened months ago) very soon. Surely when I finish learning how to layout this website. Until then… Go do something nice for yourself and/or someone else, because the world has been lacking that lately.
